RPG Life Sciences is carving out its active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) business into a newly set-up subsidiary, RPGAP, in a transaction valued at ₹33.55 crore. The API unit contributed revenue of ₹95.06 crore in FY26, or 13.54% of consolidated turnover, and had net worth of ₹70.92 crore, or 11.72% of the group total. In a separate disclosure, ILSF and VJF said they will invest a combined ₹243.33 crore in RPGAP for about a 40% stake, while RPGAP also signed an agreement to acquire 100% of bulk drug intermediate supplier Actis Generics.
