Poland’s Office of Competition and Consumer Protection has accused Google of using its dominant position when showing local publishers’ articles in Google Search, Google News and Google Discover. The regulator said Google did not provide the data required for publishers to negotiate compensation. The case could result in a fine of up to 10% of Google’s annual revenue.
