OpenAI cuts valuation target to $1.25tn as it nears $30bn funding round

OpenAI is closing in on a funding round of up to $30bn. The company has lowered the valuation it is seeking to $1.25tn, a $150bn reduction from the $1.4tn it pitched earlier this month. The new money is not included in that valuation.
