Monadelphous Group Ltd said its subsidiary Kerman Contracting has been awarded a $165 million design-and-construction contract by Rio Tinto for the Brockman Syncline 1 project in Western Australia’s Pilbara. Work is scheduled to begin in 2026 and finish in 2028. The scope includes facilities such as a heavy equipment workshop, washdown and tyre-change areas, plus fuel storage and refuelling infrastructure. The company said the award strengthens its forward order book and builds on earlier work secured at the same site.
