Leads Biolabs wins IND clearance for PD-L1/4-1BB bispecific combo trial in metastatic colorectal cancer

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Leads Biolabs' NMPA/CDE approval of an IND for a Phase Ib/II trial of its PD-L1/4-1BB bispecific antibody in metastatic colorectal cancer is a positive idiosyncratic catalyst for the company's clinical pipeline, expanding its immuno-oncology scope into MSS/pMMR mCRC where standard checkpoint inhibitors underperform. The update is largely sector-specific and should have limited near-term spillover to broad crypto or macro markets.

Leads Biolabs has received approval for an investigational new drug (IND) application for its PD-L1/4-1BB bispecific antibody in metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC). The therapy is intended for microsatellite stable (MSS) or mismatch repair proficient (pMMR) mCRC, a group that represents about 95% of mCRC cases and has shown limited response to conventional immune checkpoint inhibitors. Colorectal cancer sees about 1.926 million new cases and 904,000 deaths globally each year, ranking as the third most common cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related death.
