Hyperliquid is working with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to find a compliant path into the U.S. perpetual futures market. About 32% of the platform’s second-quarter trading volume was tied to stocks and other real-world assets, potentially putting parts of its business under both CFTC and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) oversight. HYPE was trading at $55.80 per token. The push is aimed at expanding U.S. operations while navigating the risk of overlapping regulation.
