Sui said at its Basecamp conference that the Hashi mainnet will go live in October 2026, supported by more than $500 million in capital commitments. Hashi is designed to bring idle Bitcoin into on-chain markets by coordinating BTC’s use as collateral through Sui smart contracts while the assets remain on the Bitcoin network. The launch coalition includes more than 20 major crypto firms and has added Anchorage Digital as a day-one partner to provide institutional access and additional stablecoin liquidity.
