Goldman Sachs has agreed to acquire NEOS Investments in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at up to $2.25 billion. NEOS runs about $30 billion in assets and its $1.1 billion Bitcoin High Income ETF (BTCI) does not hold Bitcoin directly. The deal is expected to lift Goldman’s active ETF assets to roughly $80 billion and push its total ETF assets under supervision above $130 billion. Bitcoin was trading around $64,000 and testing resistance near $66,000 after a cooler-than-expected U.S. PPI reading.
