U.S. diesel average hits record $5.85 a gallon as Iran war tightens oil supply
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
US diesel prices hit a record as the Iran conflict tightens global oil supply, reinforcing energy-driven cost pressures across transport-intensive goods. With crude near $94/bbl and US inflation still above the Fed's target, markets may reprice toward tighter policy expectations. The setup is supportive for oil-linked assets but negative for broader risk sentiment via renewed inflation and rate uncertainty.
