Circle issued about 5.4 billion USDC and redeemed about 5.3 billion USDC in the seven days through Aug. 13. The net increase was about 100 million tokens, bringing total USDC circulation to 71.9 billion tokens, according to ChainCatcher. Reserves were about $72.6 billion. The reserve assets were mainly held in overnight reverse repurchase agreements, short-dated U.S. Treasurys, and bank deposits.
