BTCPay Server has warned that attackers are actively exploiting a critical vulnerability that could put users’ bitcoin at risk, urging an immediate upgrade to version 2.4.2 or a temporary shutdown. The flaw was disclosed last Friday. Separately, a Coldcard hardware wallet vulnerability has led to at least $116 million in confirmed losses, with Galaxy Research estimating potential losses could reach about $130 million.
