Bondada Engineering (BE) has acquired a 60% stake in Onix IPP in a cash deal, taking control of a 225MW (AC) solar project under Maharashtra’s PM-KUSUM programme. The project has a 25-year power purchase agreement with MSEDCL and is expected to generate estimated annual revenue of about INR 150.48 Crs. The company said the transaction has been completed after receiving all regulatory approvals. BE also announced a 14% final dividend and began the process to migrate its shares to the BSE and NSE main boards.
