Ripple said it has won approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to set up a trust bank that can hold dollar reserves in compliance. The company is also advancing issuance of its dollar stablecoin, RLUSD. It is positioning the XRP Ledger as infrastructure for settlement between banks. The post said Ripple holds 75+ licences worldwide and has one remaining step—a “master account”—to connect directly to major payment rails.
