Zama's ZAMA Token Debuts on Revolut Across the EEA
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Zama's ZAMA token listing on Revolut across the EEA meaningfully expands distribution, exposing the asset to 70M+ users and a large existing crypto-trading cohort with minimal incremental onboarding friction (no new account/extra ID checks, withdrawals supported, low/zero fees). The news reinforces Zama's commercialization narrative around fully homomorphic encryption-enabled onchain privacy, complementing recent DeFi and institutional deployments on Ethereum.

Zama has listed its native ZAMA token on Revolut across the European Economic Area, opening distribution to the fintech's more than 70 million customers. Revolut says over 15 million users already trade crypto on the platform, giving the blockchain privacy project an immediate channel to active traders.
The rollout is designed to be low-friction for existing Revolut customers. Users can buy and hold ZAMA inside the main app without creating a new account or completing additional identity checks. Trading fees start at 0, and withdrawals to self-custody wallets are supported.
The listing also pushes Zama's privacy tech toward a broader audience. The protocol uses fully homomorphic encryption to keep balances, transactions and positions encrypted on public blockchains such as Ethereum, without relying on a separate privacy chain. Co-founder and CEO Rand Hindi said users expect privacy in everyday finance, while on-chain activity has traditionally offered less confidentiality.
Zama's recent activity indicates the Revolut listing fits a wider commercialization plan. The project now supports confidential lending, real-world asset tokenization and institutional token operations. In June, Zama partnered with Morpho and Steakhouse Financial to launch a confidential DeFi yield vault on Ethereum. In May, it acquired TokenOps to bring encrypted token distributions to institutional issuers.
ZAMA launched in February via a sealed-bid Dutch auction that protected more than $121 million on Ethereum, described as the first large-scale production use of Zama's encryption method on mainnet. ZAMA was trading around $0.04 on Aug. 11.
The key test is whether easier access through Revolut can translate advanced privacy infrastructure into a feature everyday crypto users adopt. By bundling purchases, custody and self-custody withdrawals into a single banking-style app, the listing lowers onboarding barriers while exposing Zama to millions of active crypto traders across the EEA.
