PANews reported on Sept. 25 that Yuga Labs CEO Michael Figge said in a post on X that the team identified a vulnerability several hours earlier and is now carrying out a white-hat recovery led by team member Quit. Figge said all impacted assets have been secured, and additional details will be released soon.
Quit also wrote on X that the activity is part of a white-hat operation. He said all assets held at address 0x71cF3f5724bD2B72Ef6464992aCd26216DE7fe33 are safe and will be returned once the risk has been removed.
Earlier reports said NFT marketplace Magic Eden appeared to have been compromised, with a "whitehat" actor moving 3,832 NFTs from hundreds of wallets.
