Vanar Moves to Base Network; VANRY Supply Set to Expand from 2.4B to 10B

Odaily Planet Daily reports that AI infrastructure project Vanar has announced it will migrate to the Base network. As part of the move, VANRY's function will shift from underpinning blockchain infrastructure to coordinating and incentivizing the AI Organizations ecosystem. Vanar said it is building an "AI Organization" economy, where organization-level AI agents can support product development, service delivery, order processing, USDC settlements, and reputation tracking. The team argues that AI's key bottleneck is likely to move away from model capability and toward identity, trust, memory, and organizational structure. On token migration, current VANRY holders will convert at a 1:1 ratio with no change in the number of tokens held. Vanar also said total supply will rise from 2.4 billion to 10 billion tokens to fund incentives for AI Organizations, developers, partners, and infrastructure development. Following the migration, 62% of total supply will remain locked initially. Newly allocated tokens will be subject to lockups and a 60-month linear vesting schedule, with vesting expected to complete over five years. Vanar will discontinue the validator staking mechanism on Vanarchain and integrate its infrastructure into the Base network. The team plans to launch the Vanar Genesis event on August 3, introducing the first AI Organizations and setting up a 100 million VANRY rewards pool to incentivize high-performing ecosystem projects.
