US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Pull In $731M on Sept. 3, Biggest One-Day Inflow Since Mid-January 2026

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
US spot Bitcoin ETFs posted a major inflow surge ($731m on Sep 3; ~$987m weekly; ~$3.5b in Aug), led by BlackRock's IBIT, pushing cumulative net inflows above $55b. The move signals renewed institutional demand and a potentially more persistent allocation trend, with dovish Fed commentary (Waller) improving risk-asset conditions and reducing the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding Bitcoin.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs logged their strongest session in months, drawing net inflows of about $731 million on Sept. 3—the largest daily intake since mid-January 2026. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the surge with roughly $454 million in new money, reinforcing its position as the dominant hub for spot Bitcoin ETF demand. Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) and ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) also posted solid contributions. The jump capped a broader upswing rather than a standalone print. For the week ending Sept. 4, net inflows reached approximately $987 million, with Sept. 3 serving as the peak of the buying wave. Flows had already been accelerating: August 2026 brought around $3.5 billion of net inflows, the best monthly showing since September 2025. Earlier this year, January 2026 featured several high-inflow sessions in the $697 million to $760 million range, providing the benchmark for the latest resurgence. The category has also seen sharp reversals, including a record $3.4 billion net outflow in early June 2026. Since US spot Bitcoin ETFs debuted in January 2024, cumulative net inflows have now topped $55 billion, putting the rollout among the most successful ETF launches on record. Bitcoin was trading near $80,000 as the latest inflows hit. Market participants pointed to the Federal Reserve as a key driver. Dovish remarks from Fed Governor Christopher Waller appeared to help spark the renewed appetite for risk assets. Expectations for easier policy typically support assets such as Bitcoin by lowering the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding exposures and, in many cases, pressuring the dollar—factors that can improve relative demand for dollar-denominated assets among international buyers. Institutional allocation patterns continue to show up clearly in the leaderboard. IBIT has become the default on-ramp for large investors seeking Bitcoin exposure without the operational burden of direct custody. FBTC remains a clear No. 2, supported by Fidelity's distribution reach and longstanding relationships with retirement-plan sponsors and wealth advisers. ARKB attracts a distinct investor base tied to Cathie Wood's high-conviction view on disruptive technology. The $55 billion cumulative figure reflects capital allocated through formal, compliance-supervised processes by pension funds, endowments, family offices and registered investment advisers.
