Bitcoin ETFs See $283M in Outflows as BTC Slides Toward $77,000

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $282.7M net outflows on Sept. 10, extending three straight sessions of withdrawals to roughly $449.5M as BTC slid toward $77K. Outflows were broad-based across major products, including ARKB, GBTC, FBTC, and IBIT, signaling softer institutional demand rather than idiosyncratic fund-specific moves. Persistent ETF redemptions can tighten near-term market liquidity and keep flows as a key risk gauge.

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds logged net outflows of $282.7 million on Sept. 10, marking a third straight session of withdrawals as Bitcoin drifted toward the $77,000 level. The pace of selling accelerated over the three-day stretch. After $46.6 million left on Sept. 8 and $120.2 million on Sept. 9, total redemptions across the period reached about $449.5 million. ARK Invest and 21Shares' ARKB posted the largest outflow on Sept. 10 at $164.3 million. Grayscale's GBTC saw $38.4 million in withdrawals, Fidelity's FBTC recorded $33.6 million, and BlackRock's IBIT—the biggest US spot Bitcoin ETF—reported $24.5 million in outflows. MSBT was the only fund with net inflows, adding $4 million, while several other products were flat. The worsening ETF flow picture coincided with renewed downside pressure in Bitcoin. BTC traded around $77,095 early on Sept. 11, down 1.76% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinCodex. The cryptocurrency had been above $78,000 earlier before heavier selling briefly pushed it into the mid-$76,000 range overnight. Bitcoin later reclaimed $77,000 but remained well below earlier levels. With outflows broad-based across major funds on Sept. 10, the recent mix of sliding prices and rising redemptions points to a notable cooling in institutional demand. Nearly $450 million has exited US spot Bitcoin ETFs in three sessions, putting ETF flows in focus as a gauge of whether Bitcoin can hold around $77,000 or risks another leg lower.
