U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs posted a seventh straight trading day of net inflows on Aug. 26 (UTC+8), pulling in $314 million for the session, according to ME News. August net inflows reached $3.03 billion, leaving the month just $390 million shy of the record set in October 2025.
The recent run of inflows has narrowed the year-to-date net outflow gap by more than half from its prior peak, to $2.26 billion. Total net assets rose to $99.05 billion, while cumulative net inflows climbed to $54.36 billion. If the pace holds, August could rank as the strongest month for inflows since October 2025.
U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs also marked seven consecutive days of net inflows. Tuesday alone saw $179.8 million added, lifting total net inflows over the past seven days to about $1 billion.
As of publication, Bitcoin traded at $78,880, down roughly 2% over the past 24 hours after briefly topping $80,000. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index slipped to 65 from 74, remaining in the "greed" zone. (Source: BlockBeats)
