PANews, Oct. 31 — TRM data shows that from Jan. 1 to Sept. 7, 2026, 34 brick-and-mortar casinos in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, received about $1.07 billion in cryptocurrency. Of that total, 64% went to casinos linked to networks sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and 99.9% was transferred as USDT on the TRON blockchain. Monthly inflows fell from an average of $148 million between January and May to roughly $95 million in July and August, but did not stop completely.
