Super League (SLE), a U.S.-listed metaverse company, surged more than 126% at the open on Aug. 18 (UTC+8), according to BIT (Bit.com) market data cited by ME News, lifting its market capitalization to about $11.6 million.
Metaplanet plans to inject 2,100 BTC, valued at roughly $132 million, into Nasdaq-listed Super League, along with an additional $2.5 million in cash. The company will be renamed "Superplanet," and its ticker is expected to change to SUPA.
