SOL Jumps More Than 44% in a Month as Solana Wraps Up First Binding On-Chain Governance Vote
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
SOL's rally is tied to Solana's first binding onchain governance vote and expectations of tighter supply. Proposals include formalizing future onchain voting, accelerating issuance reduction by doubling the deflationary schedule, and restructuring fees to increase the amount directly burned. If the economic proposals clear the required supermajority, near-term sentiment could strengthen via improved token-supply dynamics and fee-burn optics, though some institutional stakeholders cite yield predictability concerns.

ChainCatcher reports that SOL gained more than 8% over the past 24 hours, lifting its month-to-date advance to about 44%—its strongest monthly performance since 2024—and pushing the token back above $105.
The rally comes as Solana завершs its first binding on-chain governance vote, with markets already factoring in potential supply tightening this week.
The ballot covered three Solana Governance Proposals (SGPs). SGP1 passed the Solana Constitution, formally setting the framework for a future on-chain voting mechanism. SGP2 (SIMD550), submitted by Helius engineers, raises the deflationary rate to 30% from 15%, speeds up the path for the inflation rate to reach its 1.5% floor by 2029, and is projected to cut new SOL issuance by roughly 18.9 million over the next six years. SGP3 (SIMD553), proposed by Temporal, restructures transaction fees into a base inclusion fee plus a resource fee, with the resource component burned directly; expected daily burn could increase from around 650 SOL to as high as 9,000 SOL.
The two economic proposals require a two-thirds supermajority of staked voting weight to pass. Nasdaq-listed Solana Company (HSDT) backs the constitutional proposal but opposes the deflationary and burn measures on timing grounds, saying institutional stakers currently favor predictable yields.
Final results are expected within hours after Epoch 1023 ends.
