Securitize Jumps More Than 20% After SEC Clears Limited Onchain Trading for Tokenized Stocks

According to ME News, BIT (bit.com) market data show that as of Sept. 17 (UTC+8), shares of Securitize (SECZ) rose more than 20% intraday, topping a 24% gain at the session high, after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved limited onchain trading of tokenized stocks. The stock was last quoted at $9.36, valuing the company at about $1.528 billion. Securitize is a U.S.-licensed tokenization infrastructure provider founded in 2017. It went public via a SPAC merger in July 2026. The firm tokenizes real-world assets—including fund interests, private credit and equities—by registering them as onchain securities, and offers end-to-end services spanning transfer agency, brokerage, ATS execution and fund administration. The company counts BlackRock (via the tokenized money market fund BUIDL), Apollo and KKR among its key partners, with BlackRock acting as both a major client and an investor.
