PeckShield said an attacker exploited a vulnerability in the SingularityNET bridge contract to mint tokens illicitly on Ethereum, resulting in losses exceeding $16.77 million. Jinse财经 reported that on September 20, on-chain monitoring linked the incident to a single actor who minted 260 million AGIX and 53.838 million WMTx.
PeckShield estimates the attacker's current holdings at roughly $16.77 million in crypto assets, including 198.3 million AGIX (about $14.42 million), 649 ETH (about $1.67 million), and 33.538 million WMTx (about $627,000).
