Losses linked to a vulnerability affecting Coldcard hardware wallets have climbed to $88.6 million as of Aug. 3, according to Onchain Lens, Huoxing Finance reported.
Onchain Lens says the activity has unfolded across four waves. In the first and second waves, attackers allegedly took 1,158.81 BTC from 2,673 victims. The third wave involved 207.73 BTC siphoned from 293 monitored P2WSH vaults. A fourth wave remains unconfirmed but may include another 388.93 BTC from 462 victims.
