NVIDIA Teams Up With Six Wall Street Giants on AI Infrastructure Financing Platform Targeting $50 Billion
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
NVIDIA's MOUs with major asset managers and banks to create an AI-infrastructure financing platform could materially expand customer capacity to deploy hyperscale data centers and procure NVIDIA hardware without stressing end-user balance sheets. Targeting $500B+ of third-party capital, the structure leverages institutional credit, insurance capital, and private equity, reinforcing AI compute as a financeable asset class and supporting near-term demand visibility across the AI supply chain.

NVIDIA has signed memoranda of understanding with Apollo Global Management, Blackstone, BlackRock, Brookfield Asset Management, Goldman Sachs and KKR to set up a financing platform for AI infrastructure for its customers, CNBC reported on Aug. 11, citing ChainThink. The initiative aims to mobilize more than $500 billion of third-party capital.
Capital raised through the platform will be directed to building hyperscale data centers and purchasing NVIDIA hardware. Funding for GPUs and data-center projects is expected to come from a mix of institutional credit, insurance capital and private equity.
CEO Jensen Huang said AI chips have, for the first time, become an "investable asset class", pointing to their revenue-generating potential, long useful lives and the ability to be redeployed across customers. BlackRock CEO Larry Fink said he plans to raise additional funds as quickly as possible. Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon said the partnership was initiated by Huang.
The report said a portion of the funding has already been secured, and the structure is designed to help end users build AI infrastructure without using their own balance sheets.
