Mirae Asset plans to build a digital-asset business valued at 150 trillion Korean won (about $109 billion), according to ME News. The initiative will be led by Digital X, formerly known as Korbit, and will span cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, real-world assets (RWA) and security tokens. The group is aiming to turn the business profitable by 2027. To accelerate expansion, it is also weighing additional funding of up to 300 billion Korean won ($217 million).
