Odaily Planet Daily, citing Bitcoin News monitoring, reported that at 9:09 a.m. Pacific Time a Liquid "white hat" hacker sent 3,400 BTC back to the Liquid Federation, while communications between the parties remained active. At 9:51 a.m., the hacker published a new PGP-encrypted message addressed to Blockstream. At 10:40 a.m., Blockstream responded with an encrypted, PGP-signed message from a new address. At 11:07 a.m., the hacker spent the 1,000 satoshis attached to Blockstream's message, signaling the latest contact is part of the same ongoing exchange. The message contents have not been disclosed. The hacker is still believed to control about 598.5 BTC.
