Sept. 15 — Ethereum restaking protocol Kelp said it has identified suspicious activity linked to an address that received rsETH several hours earlier. The team has placed a 24-hour temporary hold on that address, during which rsETH deposits and withdrawals are disabled.
Kelp stated that its contracts remain secure, rsETH is fully collateralized, and minting, withdrawals, and integrations continue to operate as normal. Users do not need to take any action.
Earlier, Blockaid monitoring reported that an unidentified user's Safe wallet on Ethereum was compromised, with confirmed losses of about $7.73 million in rsETH.
