Ethereum restaking protocol Kelp said it has identified suspicious activity involving an address that received rsETH several hours earlier, according to Mars Finance. The team has placed the address under a 24-hour temporary freeze, during which rsETH deposits and withdrawals are disabled.
Kelp said its contracts remain secure and rsETH is still fully collateralized. Minting, withdrawals and integrations are operating as usual, and users do not need to take any action.
Separately, Blockaid monitoring previously flagged a compromised Safe wallet on Ethereum tied to an unknown user, with confirmed losses of about $7.73 million in rsETH.
