Odaily Planet Daily cited onchain analyst Aunt Ai as saying that a whale increased its Bitcoin short exposure overnight by 533.02 BTC. The trader's total short position now stands at 1,313 BTC, valued at about $84.02 million, with an average entry price of $64,183.
The position is currently showing an unrealized gain of roughly $251,000 and remains the largest BTC position on Hyperliquid. The short was first opened on Aug. 5 and was later topped up after the account recorded an $811,000 loss. Bitcoin dropped below $64,000 overnight, marking its first break under that level in recent sessions.
