Grayscale's Zcash spot ETF (ZCSH) surpassing $500m AUM within two weeks, alongside sizable inflows and a $100m DCG allocation, signals strong institutional demand and meaningful supply absorption (about 3% of circulating ZEC). The rapid AUM growth and liquidity uptick can tighten spot availability and amplify near-term volatility, while elevating ZEC's prominence within the broader crypto complex.

Grayscale's Zcash Spot ETF (ZCSH) has grown past $500 million in assets under management just two weeks after launch, according to ChainCatcher citing CoinDesk. The fund now holds more than 550,000 ZEC, about 3% of Zcash's 16.9 million circulating supply.
Since listing on August 25, ZCSH has pulled in over $70 million in net inflows and also received an additional $100 million investment from DCG International Investments.
On the back of the stronger demand, ZEC briefly jumped above $1,180, up more than 4% on the day. 24-hour trading volume was around $1 billion, and its market capitalization rose to rank as the 10th-largest cryptocurrency.
