Bitcoin briefly slid to $77,666 on Tuesday before recovering to around $78,900 in early Asian trading Wednesday, leaving little net change over the past 24 hours, CoinDesk reported. The token is still up nearly 2% for the week.
Traders are watching upcoming U.S. inflation readings and the Federal Reserve's interest-rate decision set for Sept. 15–16.
Grayscale said its Zcash exchange-traded fund, which began trading on NYSE Arca two weeks ago, has surpassed $500 million in assets under management. The ETF, ticker ZCSH, has drawn more than $70 million in cumulative inflows since its Aug. 25 launch and also received a $100 million investment from DCG International Investments.
The fund currently holds more than 550,000 ZEC, representing about 3% of ZEC's circulating supply.
