Glassnode's entity-adjusted SOPR 7-day average moving back above 1.00 indicates on-chain selling is largely profitable, yet BTC has not weakened materially, implying spot demand is absorbing profit-taking. This pattern is typically consistent with risk-on conditions and supports the view that market depth on the bid remains healthy. A sustained reading above 1.00 would signal continued demand; a reversal would suggest fading support.

Glassnode said Bitcoin's entity-adjusted SOPR (Spent Output Profit Ratio) 7-day moving average has climbed back above the break-even level of 1.00, according to ME News on Sept. 19 (UTC+8). The move suggests most coins currently being sold on-chain are being realized at a profit. Despite that profit-taking, BTC's price has not shown an immediate drop, pointing to buy orders strong enough to absorb the selling pressure—a pattern commonly seen in bull markets. Glassnode noted that staying above 1.00 would signal resilient demand, while a slide back below 1.00 would indicate that this buying support is fading. In the accompanying chart, the orange line tracks the adjusted SOPR, the gray line shows BTC price, green highlights net profitable selling, and red marks net loss-making selling. (Source: BlockBeats)
