FIIs flip to net buyers with Rs 1,143 crore inflow on Sept 1; DIIs add Rs 1,847 crore
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Indian equities saw supportive flows as FIIs and DIIs were net buyers, helping offset a slight dip in Nifty 50 and Sensex. However, Brent above $92 and rising global bond yields are tightening financial conditions and weighing on risk appetite. Strong Q1 GDP growth provides a domestic cushion, but near-term market direction remains sensitive to oil, geopolitics, and persistence of foreign inflows.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) turned net buyers of Indian equities on September 1, purchasing shares worth Rs 1,143 crore. Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) also remained net buyers, with inflows of Rs 1,847 crore.
Indian benchmarks ended slightly lower. The Nifty 50 slipped 0.1% to 24,055.80, while the Sensex eased 0.02% to 76,944.28.
Brent crude climbed above $92 a barrel, and rising global bond yields weighed on risk appetite. India's Q1 GDP growth of 7.8% offered some support, though oil prices, geopolitics and foreign flows continued to be key market drivers.
