Fetch.ai Publishes On-Chain Review of ASI:One Exploit; Works With SingularityNET to Disable Compromised Wallets and Contracts
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Fetch.ai disclosed an on-chain postmortem of the ASI:One exploit, attributing losses to stolen backend signature keys tied to SingularityNET's cross-chain bridge and a compromised NuNet minting key. The attacker reportedly drained 8,721,530 FET and minted ~408.5M NTX (~42% of supply), with significant ETH and NTX still held. Joint deactivation of affected wallets/contracts limits further damage but underscores elevated protocol and bridge security risk.

Fetch.ai said it has released an on-chain analysis of the attack on the ASI:One platform, mapping the flow from a compromised signing key through to the attacker's cashout wallet. The company noted the report is preliminary and not the final version.
According to the report, the breach stemmed from the theft of the backend signature key used by the SingularityNET cross-chain bridge. The attacker used the key to generate valid signatures and drained the contract's full balance—8,721,530 FET (about $1.55 million)—through the conversionIn function.
Fetch.ai added that a NuNet minting key was also compromised, allowing the attacker to mint roughly 408.5 million NTX, or around 42% of total supply. Both attack paths were coordinated and initiated within the same minute.
At the time of publication, the attacker was still holding about 547.89 ETH and 230 million NTX in a single wallet. Fetch.ai said it and SingularityNET have deactivated the affected wallets and contracts and will provide further updates as the investigation continues.
