Onchain analyst Ember (@EmberCN) reported that a large whale or institutional account transferred another 30,825 ETH to Bitfinex about nine hours ago to take profits. Over the past week, the address has sent a total of 112,053 ETH to the exchange, worth roughly $300 million.
The wallet originally withdrew 130,592 ETH from Bitfinex in 2023—about $264 million at the time—at an average cost of $2,026 per ETH. It is now selling at an average price of $2,676, bringing total realized profit to about $72.83 million.
