Odaily Planet Daily reports that Ethereum's Glamsterdam upgrade has been activated on the Sepolia testnet, reaching completion at 13:53 UTC on Tuesday at epoch 353024. The rollout serves as a key trial run ahead of the eventual mainnet activation.
Glamsterdam is set to add built-in proposer-builder separation, block-level access lists, and gas pricing tweaks designed to better reflect execution costs, with the goal of improving Ethereum mainnet scalability and efficiency. The Ethereum Foundation has also released the corresponding upgrade roadmap.
