Solana Treasury Firm DFDV Boosts SOL Holdings by 55,491 Tokens; Sets Up $300M CHAD Preferred Share ATM Program

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
DFDV reported a 55,491 SOL increase to ~2.389M via continued purchases and staking yield, and launched a $300M ATM for CHAD perpetual preferred shares with proceeds primarily aimed at further SOL accumulation. While the program does not require immediate issuance, it expands a dedicated financing channel tied to SOL exposure, reinforcing institutional-style balance-sheet demand narratives and potentially supporting near-term sentiment around SOL-linked treasury strategies.

DeFi Development Corp. (Nasdaq: DFDV) said on Sept. 14 that its SOL and SOL-equivalent holdings rose by 55,491 tokens to about 2.3889 million, up roughly 2% from Aug. 27. The Solana treasury-focused company attributed the increase to continued SOL purchases as well as yield generation through staking and other strategies. DFDV also announced the creation of an at-the-market (ATM) offering program of up to $300 million for its CHAD perpetual preferred shares, with R.F. Lafferty & Co. acting as exclusive sales agent. The company expects to issue CHAD at no less than $10 per share, and said proceeds would be used primarily to buy additional SOL. DFDV noted that launching the ATM program does not signal an immediate capital raise and does not obligate the company to sell any shares. It added that the financing tool is intended to reinforce its capital loop of "financing—buying SOL—earning returns—raising SOL per share." The company said that since the start of the third quarter, SOL has outperformed the Nasdaq 100 Index by 39%, and DFDV's performance over the same period has been about twice that of SOL.
