daos.fun founder alleges core contributor netted $6.6M from insider ai16z token sales

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Allegations of insider selling and governance failures around the ai16z token migration/rebrand raise acute counterparty and reputational risk for the project and may pressure liquidity as holders reassess fairness and wallet controls. The public dispute between a founder and a core member, alongside cited onchain records, can amplify scrutiny of Solana-based token launches and migration mechanics, widening risk premia across adjacent early-stage assets.

PANews, Aug. 16 — Shaw, founder of daos.fun, accused a project core contributor, baoskee, of earning about $6.6 million by selling ai16z tokens with the benefit of insider information during the project’s rebrand and migration. Shaw shared what he described as supporting on-chain evidence from Solscan. According to Shaw, the team knew a16z required the project to change its name to avoid trademark disputes. He also claimed baoskee did not deliver a previously promised Snapshot voting mechanism and instead sold a large amount of ai16z tokens from the execution wallet. Baoskee responded in a separate post, calling Shaw "completely insane."
