CZ Thanks Secret Service for Rapid Freeze of Stolen Binance Funds

CZ publicly thanked the U.S. Secret Service and industry partners for helping track and freeze stolen funds within minutes of the incident. The Secret Service is continuing to investigate the theft of more than $6 billion in cryptocurrency from Binance Global. Investigators worked with industry partners shortly after the Thursday afternoon incident to identify and freeze a significant portion of the assets. CZ said their speed and expertise helped contain the damage and reduce the risk of ripple effects across crypto and the broader financial markets.
