AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Reports estimate Coldcard hardware wallet users lost roughly 1,432–1,816 BTC, with multiple firms converging on a high-confidence minimum near 1,730 BTC and scope potentially expanding as more victims disclose addresses. The incident raises acute custody and operational-risk concerns, likely pressuring near-term crypto risk sentiment and increasing scrutiny of self-custody security practices and related service providers.

ME News reported on Aug. 11 (UTC+8) that the Coldcard hardware wallet was hacked, with total losses not yet fully confirmed. CryptoQuant has verified losses of 1,432 BTC, while Galaxy Research has pegged a high-confidence minimum at 1,730 BTC, noting that earlier references to 1,816 BTC were indicative rather than a confirmed total.
By Tuesday, Galaxy Research said it could validate at least 1,730 BTC in losses with high confidence, including more than 450 BTC corroborated directly through victim reports. TRM Labs estimated the attacker moved about 1,816 BTC in four stages across more than 5,200 addresses.
CryptoQuant said its confirmed tally only covers addresses publicly disclosed by victims and matched via on-chain patterns, and the figure could rise as additional victims come forward. (Source: ODAILY)
