Chainlink Teams Up With Swift Provider Bottomline to Expand Cross-Chain, Cross-Border Payments

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Chainlink's partnership with Swift service providers to connect Bottomline's payment rails to public/private blockchains strengthens CCIP's role as a middleware standard for cross-chain and cross-border settlement. By preserving ISO 20022 messaging while enabling on-chain payment channels, the integration lowers adoption friction for banks and enterprises, potentially increasing CCIP usage and reinforcing Chainlink's positioning in institutional tokenized payments infrastructure.

According to ME News, Chainlink said on Sept. 4 (UTC+8) it has entered a strategic partnership with Swift service providers to support cross-chain, cross-border payments. Chainlink will supply an interoperability and orchestration layer that links Bottomline's existing payments infrastructure with both public and private blockchains. The partnership will use Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) for secure cross-chain transfers of tokenized value, while the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) will manage end-to-end payment workflow coordination. Bottomline's bank clients will be able to keep using ISO 20022 messaging standards and gain access to on-chain payment rails through a single, network-agnostic connection. (Source: Foresight News)
