Brazil's coffee harvest is picking up pace. Data from the Cooxupe cooperative show the crop was 81.1% harvested as of Aug. 14, up 7 percentage points from the prior week. Separately, Safras & Mercado reported that the 2026/27 coffee harvest reached 90% completion as of Aug. 12, still trailing both last year's pace and the five-year average. Arabica harvesting stood at 86%, also below the 95% recorded a year earlier. Against this backdrop, ICE Arabica and robusta coffee futures both ended lower on Friday.
