BitMine buys 10,399 ETH in a week, lifts Ethereum holdings to about 5.8M
BitMine Immersion Technologies said it purchased 10,399 ETH over the past week, bringing its reported Ethereum treasury to roughly 5.8 million ETH, according to a recent company treasury update.
The company characterized the purchase as part of an ongoing accumulation program, with the newly acquired ether added to its existing position. BitMine limited its disclosure to a one-week reporting window and did not frame the figures as covering a longer period.
The latest total continues an upward trend from prior updates. BitMine previously reported 5.70 million ETH after buying 27,084 ETH during an earlier weekly window, highlighting the pace at which its treasury has been expanding.
The scale of the position remains the headline. A 10,399 ETH weekly increase points to BitMine acting as an active buyer, and a roughly 5.8 million ETH corporate treasury concentrates a meaningful amount of supply on a single balance sheet, making each incremental update closely watched by Ethereum-focused investors.
BitMine's accumulation has also coincided with capital-raising steps tied to its digital-asset strategy, including a preferred stock plan covering 3 million shares. Outside coverage has noted continued ether purchases alongside chairman Tom Lee's remarks on the ETH/BTC ratio.
BitMine's next scheduled disclosures are expected to clarify whether this weekly buying cadence continues and how the total moves from the current ~5.8 million ETH level.
