BitGo (NYSE: BTGO) has migrated more than $7.7 billion in Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), ChainThink reported on Aug. 5, citing Chainlink. BitGo said it has completed a review of its cross-chain setup, ended use of its prior traditional solution, and selected CCIP as its exclusive cross-chain infrastructure provider. The company added it will standardize WBTC and any future assets it issues on the institutional-grade interoperability framework.
