Ethereum has climbed out of its six‑month downtrend range by reclaiming $2,200 and briefly touching a one‑month peak near $2,320, while gaining around 20% from last Sunday’s lows. On the daily chart, the SuperTrend indicator has shifted from sell to buy for the first time since September, hinting at a possible trend reversal toward $2,400–$2,600, though some analysts caution it could still turn into a bull trap that precedes new lows.

On Saturday, March 14, the Ethereum Foundation stated on X that it completed an over-the-counter sale of 5,000 ETH to BitMine Immersion Technologies at an average price of $2,042.96, for a total of roughly $10.2 million. The deal, designed to limit visible exchange sell pressure, will support the Foundation's research, development, and ecosystem spending under its 2025 treasury framework, while keeping the ETH within long-term institutional holdings.

Ethereum has pushed sharply higher, breaking above $2,150 and then the $2,250 region before reaching a $2,385 high. The price is now holding above $2,320 and the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average, with a key bullish trend line offering support around $2,120. If buyers can drive ETH cleanly through the $2,400–$2,450 resistance area, the market may eye the $2,500–$2,550 zone, while failure to clear $2,400 could trigger a drop back toward $2,220 and $2,150.

XRP is trading around $1.45 and building a short-term recovery structure that could open the way toward the $1.70 resistance area if current momentum persists. Ethereum has reclaimed key short-term moving averages and is fluctuating near $2,270–$2,280, while $2,516 remains an important resistance threshold. Shiba Inu is hovering close to $0.0000062 after rebounding from the $0.0000055 support, but its broader trend remains bearish despite improving technical indicators.

On Monday, Bitdeer announced its SEALMINER DL1 Air, a new mining rig tailored to the Scrypt algorithm powering proof-of-work networks such as Litecoin and Dogecoin. Following the launch, Bitdeer's BTDR stock rose about 8%, ranking as the fourth-largest gainer among tracked crypto-related equities. The new hardware extends Bitdeer's SEALMINER line and supports additional Scrypt-based chains beyond LTC and DOGE.

Ethereum's futures open interest has surged by more than 18% while ETH has risen for seven straight days since March 9 and is attempting an eighth green close. With ETH trading around $2,299 and open interest near $33.37 billion, leveraged bullish positioning and relatively expensive put options on Deribit highlight a divided market. Analysts note that holding above $2,036 could open the way toward $2,600–$2,800, while a failure may keep ETH range-bound between $1,750 and $2,200.

Ethereum advanced roughly 8% over the last 24 hours to approach $2,300 on Monday, while on-chain data showed renewed large-scale buying. Erik Voorhees spent 49.08 million USDT to acquire 23,393 ETH, alongside additional whale and ETF inflows, even as Vitalik Buterin's earlier sales this year totaled about 18,684 ETH.

Ethereum price has moved back above the $2,150 area and is trading over the 50-day Simple Moving Average as traders watch for a confirmed daily close over $2,200. If this level holds, upside targets between $2,500 and $2,700 come into focus, while on-chain data and large ETH purchases suggest accumulation despite extreme fear in sentiment indicators.

Early Bitcoin advocate and ShapeShift founder Erik Voorhees has resumed aggressive Ethereum accumulation after a one-year break, reportedly spending $49 million in USDT via CoW Protocol for nearly 24,000 ETH at an average of $2,098. Other large investors and trading firms have also shifted significant capital into Ethereum, helping push the price up 7.6% in 24 hours to about $2,270.
