U.S. Q4 GDP revised down to 0.5%; 2025 growth slowed to 2.1%

The U.S. economy expanded at an annualized 0.5% pace in the fourth quarter, a downward revision from the previous estimate. For full-year 2025, GDP growth came in at 2.1%, sharply lower than 2.8% in 2024 and 2.9% in 2023. The newsletter noted that 2025 marked the weakest annual growth of the Trump period and was below every year recorded under President Biden.
