Bitcoin has broken down from a daily flag, putting the $80K demand area in focus amid risk-off sentiment tied to headlines about President Trump's pick to replace Jerome Powell. The 4-hour view points to a potential corrective move toward the $88K supply zone. On-chain Realized Price age bands show shorter-term holders under pressure as price approaches historically active accumulation ranges.

U.Today said XRP fell more than 3.90%, extending a death cross and marking a 90-day low, with weekly losses at 11.33%. According to CoinMarketCap, the token traded at $1.69 after a $1.78 intraday high, while 24-hour volume slid 20.74% to $4.02 billion; the pattern was first observed on Jan. 19.

From January 26 to 30, US-listed Bitcoin ETFs posted about $1.5 billion in net outflows, while Ethereum funds saw roughly $327 million. According to Farside Investors, withdrawals intensified on January 29–30; Solana flows were largely flat, and a single XRP ETF session erased nearly $93 million of prior inflows.

In a CryptoQuant Quicktake, CryptoOnchain said Binance's Estimated Leverage Ratio surged to 0.188 during the sell-off, signaling higher liquidation risk. The analyst added that the market is in a high-tension zone and a squeeze could be imminent.

Bitcoin is trading near $83,000 after a sharp slide to about $81,000 earlier in the week, with 24-hour volume around $50 billion, down nearly 40%. Key support sits near $80,500, while resistance has shifted to the $86,400–$90,400 area, leaving BTC in a downward channel and a corrective phase. A daily close above $90,400 could point to a recovery, but failure to hold $80,500 may expose the $76,400 zone.

During a Binance Q&A, Changpeng Zhao rejected claims the exchange sparked the Oct. 10 liquidation wave that erased about $19 billion in leveraged positions. He said he spoke as a shareholder, not as an executive. USDe's brief drop to $0.65 on Binance was later tied to an internal oracle issue, and users were compensated around $283 million.

According to the report, Ripple will unlock 1 billion XRP from escrow on February 1, 2026, a monthly release that is typically followed by re-escrowing about 70–80%, limiting net supply. Ahead of the event, XRP trades at $1.70, down over 2% on the day and more than 11% week over week, below the 50-day SMA at $1.97 and the 200-day SMA at $2.47.
