Eigen Foundation Proposes EIGEN Incentive Overhaul to Prioritize Efficient Activity

Eigen Foundation on December 20 proposed a governance change to introduce a new EIGEN incentive mechanism that shifts rewards toward efficient network activity and fee generation, BlockBeats reports. A new committee would manage token issuance, prioritize AVS security and EigenCloud growth, and return AVS rewards and EigenCloud service revenue to EIGEN holders. The change could prove deflationary as the ecosystem expands.
